NHS County Durham & Darlington’s primary care pathfinder programme was established to extend the regional NETS model into primary care and develop understanding of lean methodology in general practice.

One aim of the programme is to learn with practices how lean principles and tools can be applied and use the learning to develop a NETS improvement toolkit for general practice.

Draft chapters from the toolkit are being piloted via this group.
