The group aims to:

• Share analytical best practice and resources
• Ensure outputs are needs led and standardised
• Liaise closely with related stakeholders e.g. education, to identify informaiton needs and to co-ordinate routine reporting of information on obesity at local level to assist policy development and resource allocation
