"This is a day for anyone in the Health Service or the Third Sector who has a passion for reducing the Health Inequalities that continue to plague the North East.
The Department of Health has run 2 Learning Events in London and Leeds - and we are following these with a North East event where we hope the Learning will be a two- way affair.
What can the Third Sector learn from the Health Professionals? - and what can the Health Service learn from the Third Sector?
We are very grateful to our partners who are making the day possible - and all the contributors who will hopefully get as much out of the day as they are putting in."
The website www.hi3.org.uk is interactive with a gallery of projects and ideas plus a blog for discussion and a document repository for pre-event reading.
Anyone interested in doing something about reducing health inequalities in the north east (or anywhere else) is welcome.
