Tobacco Control Research and Monitoring Seminar

We are inviting you to an event on 25th February 2009 at Durham County Cricket Club, Riverside, Chester-le-Street, Co Durham, which will draw together academics, researchers and tobacco control colleagues from the North East and beyond to discuss the exciting developments around the new UK Centre for Tobacco Control Studies and innovative work underway within the North East. All are welcome to this event and we look forward to seeing a good mix of colleagues from across the region who will spend time discussing the research and monitoring needs of the North East and exploring ways to enhance collaboration on these important areas further.
The programme will cover a range of presentations of interest to a wide range of partners, including the final stage of research into the Smoke Free North East Office; groundbreaking work around tobacco smuggling criminology; impact of smokefree legislation within communities; and others to be finalised.
